There were 1,165 Black students enrolled in Caroline County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 4.7% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Caroline County Public Schools District welcomed 4,564 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 25.5% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the school.

Caroline County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Caroline County and has a main office in Bowling Green.

Among the five schools in Caroline County Public Schools District, Caroline High School recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2023-24 school year.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools have an average student-to-teacher ratio of 14:1, slightly better than the national average of 15:1. Minority students, primarily Hispanic and Black, make up 54% of the enrollment, while white students constitute 46%.
