There were 330 6th-grade students enrolled in Caroline County schools in the 2023-24 school year, 0.3% fewer than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Caroline Middle School was the only school that welcomed 6th-grade students in the county.

Within Caroline County schools, the largest number of students were found in 9th-grade, while pre-kindergarten had the least students.

Statewide, Caroline County ranked 54th in enrollment numbers. It was ranked 56th the year before.
