Alcohol Anarchy at Applebee’s
A disorderly disturbance in North Stafford over the weekend led to a trip over to Rappahannock Regional Jail.
On February 4th a little after midnight, Deputy S.C. Jett responded to a disturbance at Applebee’s located at 1000 Stafford Market Place. An employee advised there were intoxicated females acting so belligerently, a manager had to physically block the door to prevent them from entering.
As soon as Deputy Jett arrived on scene, the two females out front began yelling they did nothing wrong. Both females appeared extremely intoxicated due to their glassy, bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from their breath as they yelled. One of the females observed an employee within the restaurant and began yelling curse words and making rude gestures.Deputy Jett attempted to place the cursing female into handcuffs but she began pulling away. The second female decided to attempt to pull the first female away from Deputy Jett. Deputy Jett remained in control of both resisting females as other deputies responded to assist.
After a few minutes of resisting, both females were placed in handcuffs. It was also discovered the second female had an active warrant out of Prince William County for a Capias. Both females were less than cooperative on their trip to Rappahannock Regional Jail. Both females were charged with public intoxication and obstruction of justice. The first female was held on an unsecured bond, while the second female was held without bond.
Great work to Deputy Jett for remaining calm during a stressful situation and locating yet another wanted individual.
