Rainbows for Reagan at Long Family Markets on July 24

Rainbows for Reagan at Long Family Markets

July 24 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Rainbows for Reagan at Long Family Markets

This Sunday we are hosting a special event in the marketplace. One of our young entrepreneurs, Reagan James (age 9), owner and operator of Aww Fudge, has been battling with a kidney cancer diagnosis.

We are hosting a fundraiser event, “Rainbows for Reagan” for Reagan and her family to help offset some of the medical and travel expenses (she is being treated at Children’s Hospital in DC). Throw on your best rainbow gear and come out and celebrate Miss Reagan with us!

There will be all of your usual market favorites as well as raffles, a giant rainbow with an opportunity to leave a personal note for Miss Reagan as well as a “costume character race”. Anyone wishing to make a donation will also have an opportunity to predict which character will win the race. Each character will have their own bucket for tickets at the information tent. One Ticket will be drawn from with winners bucket with a lucky donor receiving $100 in market tokens to use in the marketplace just like cash. Racers will report to the starting line at 12:30. Winners of the raffles/race ticket holder do not have to be present to win.

Check out our social media pages @longfamilymarkets for more details on our racers (TRex, Shark, Unicorn & Honey Bee)!

Check out our Event page and as always, thank you for coming out to support our young entrepreneur and the market!
