Costello's Ace Hardware King George to open, 'We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor'

If you like DIY projects, then you may want to take advantage of the grand opening event on April 1-3 at Costello's Ace Hardware in King George.

Located at 11475 Ridge Road, the King George hardware store will bring a unique experience to home maintenance lovers, according to an Ace press release.

“Our mission is to provide customers with the neighborly advice and assistance they have come to expect from Ace,” Owner of Costello’s Ace Hardware Joey Costello said, according to the release. “We look forward to becoming a helpful and valuable neighbor to the community, both inside and outside the walls of our store.”

Paint, lawn and garden are the main product categories featured at the store, per the release.

"The store is packed with thousands of essential products and supplies, including some of the most respected brand names and best-selling items to help people take care of their homes," Ace officials said, according to the release. "Key product offerings include paint, lawn and garden, hardware, electrical, plumbing, automotive and home décor, as well as niche products such as Yeti, Scotts, STIHL, Big Green Egg, Milwaukee, Ben Moore, Traeger, Weber."

According to the Ace website, there are over 5,000 Ace stores throughout the world. Most are owned by local small business owners.

The company was founded in 1924 and the headquarters are based in Illinois, per the Ace website.

According to the Ace website, they get involved in the community and partner with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and the American Red Cross during disaster relief.
