Visiting City Buildings:

The CDC continues to recommend that masks be worn indoors regardless of vaccination status for areas with “Substantial” or “High” levels of community spread.  Unfortunately, the City and the greater region remain in “High” community-spread status, although the numbers are steadily coming down.

All City buildings continue to be open to the public.  All City visitors are still strongly encouraged to wear masks while conducting business within City buildings, and are required to wear a mask for any in-person meetings.

As we work together in our continued fight against COVID-19, please remember the following best practices:

•    When scheduling meetings, continue to consider alternative platforms such as GoToMeetings or Zoom – particularly for meetings such as informational meetings with large numbers of attendees.

•    In-person meetings should continue to maintain physical distancing and wearing masks, this includes any visitors that are not City employees.  Disposable masks should be on hand to provide to any visitor that may not have one.

•    Remember to maintain physical distancing while in breakrooms and during lunch breaks.

•    Remember to continue washing your hands often and avoid touching your face.  Cover your coughs and sneezes.

This update is subject to further revision, as the guidance and conditions in the community change.
