Caroline County issued the following announcement on Feb. 1
CAROLINE COUNTY EXTENDS “STORM DEBRIS EMERGENCY” THROUGH
FEBRUARY 15, 2022
Caroline County and its residents are recovering from Snow Storm Frida that moved through the County Monday morning, January 3rd. This storm impacted the entire County, coating everything in its path with a blanket of heavy wet snow.
Caroline County has declared a “Storm Debris Emergency” due to the significant amount of storm debris. This declaration will allow County residents and contractors to dispose of storm debris at the Bowling Green Solid Waste Convenience Site during normal business hours at no charge.
Due to periods of extremely cold weather and additional snowfall hindering the cleanup efforts, County officials have extended the Storm Debris Emergency.
Storm debris is defined as trees, branches, brush and leaves. Stumps are not accepted.
County residents will be allowed to dispose of storm debris through February 15, 2022.
