SULLY DISTRICT STATION

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6328 Richmond Highway (T-Mobile), 1/7/22, 7:17 p.m. Five men entered the business and took merchandise with force. No injuries were reported. 

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 7614 Richmond Highway (McDonalds), 1/10/22, 4:25 p.m. Two groups got into an altercation with each other inside the restaurant. The altercation became physical and resulted in two men being taken to the hospital with injuries that were deemed non-life threatening. One of the men remains hospitalized. 

WEAPONS VIOLATION: 3707 Austin Avenue (Bryant Alternative School), 1/1/22, 8:42 p.m.  Officers learned that a student at the school was in attendance and may be in possession of a firearm that was stolen Jan. 1 from an Alexandria home. School officials removed the student from a classroom and conducted an administrative search. Inside the student’s bag, the loaded firearm was found. The student was taken into custody by officers and charges are pending.  

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 7644 Richmond Highway (Sherwin-Williams), 1/12/22, 5:22 p.m. A 43-year-old man entered the business, implied he had a weapon, attempted to take cash and fled on foot. Officers quickly located the man a short distance away. The man was arrested and charged with attempted robbery. 

ASSAULT: Richmond Highway at Ladson Lane, 1/12/22, 6:32 p.m. A 32-year-old man got into a verbal altercation with two other men and used a stun gun on both men. Officers located the man nearby, and he was arrested. The man was charged with assault. He was taken into custody without incident. The victims had injuries considered not life threatening. 

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

MASON DISTRICT STATION 

ROBBERY: 3000 block of Annandale Road, 1/10/22, 11:10 p.m. Two men assaulted the victim, took his property and fled on foot. Officers identified one of the men responsible for the robbery as a 48-year-old man with no fixed address. He was arrested and charged with robbery. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries considered not life threatening. 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION 

BURGLARY: 9421 Lorton Market Street (ABC Store), 1/8/22, 12:48 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. 

ASSAULT/ STOLEN VEHICLE: 6000 block of Kingstowne Village Parkway, 1/10/22, 8:49 p.m. The victim was driving a 2018 Honda CRV when a man flagged him to stop in the parking lot. When the victim stopped and exited his car, the man assaulted the victim then stole the Honda. No injuries were reported.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION 

No events to report. 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION 

ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING/ ATTEMPTED MALICIOUS WOUNDING OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER: 12200 Fairfax Towne Center (Starbucks), 1/7/22, 2:06 p.m. A 19-year-old man entered the business and threatened an employee with a knife. When officers arrived, the man threatened officers with a knife and an electronic control weapon was used to take the man into custody. The man was charged with four counts of attempted malicious wounding of a law enforcement officer and one count of attempted malicious wounding. No injuries were reported. 

RECKLESS DISCHARGE/ BRANDISHING: Centreville Road at Coppermine Road, 1/9/22, 4:41 a.m. The driver of a black Honda coupe stopped his vehicle in front of the victim after a road rage incident. The driver of the Honda got out of his vehicle, pointed a firearm at the victim, fired the gun into the air and drove away. No injuries were reported.
