Fredericksburg COVID-19 Update for December 20, 2021

City of Fredericksburg issued the following announcement on Dec. 20

Fredericksburg Fire Chief Mike Jones provides an brief update on omicron as well as an overview of Covid-19 case numbers in our area for Monday, December 20, 2021. 

Please check ahead for holiday hours for the Community Vaccination Center, pharmacies and doctor offices in these next two weeks.

Everyone 5 years and older is eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations. All adults are eligible for booster shots. To schedule your appointment at the Community Vaccination Center at 1877 Carl D. Silver Parkway in Central Park, please go online at https://vase.vdh.virginia.gov and type in "22401" in the zip code box. The CVC currently operates Tuesday-Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

Parents may sign up at for other locations at vaccinate.virginia.gov or call 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682). TTY users can call 711. Assistance is available in English, Spanish, and more than 100 other languages. Appointments are required at this time and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
