Caroline County issued the following announcement on Dec. 2
Caroline County experienced an incident in mid-November related to our email. Local, State and Federal agencies were immediately notified and steps were taken to address the incident. We continue to carefully monitor our network to ensure that no unintended emails are being sent. You may receive emails from other sources appearing to be from a Caroline County employee. These emails will include an attachment or a link that is likely malicious and may also contain previous emails you have received from Caroline County. Please take immediate steps to delete these emails and DO NOT CLICK ON THE ATTACHMENT OR LINK. They are likely malicious and are not coming from Caroline County.
