Office of Stafford County Sheriff issued the following announcement on Sept. 23
DUI
543 Warrenton Road, Quality Inn, 9/22, 2:01 a.m. Deputy M.A. Pearce responded to the area for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, the deputy observed the vehicle pulling into a parking spot at the motel. The deputy approached the driver, Ferose Khan Jr., 39, of Woodbridge, and noticed he had slurred speech and glassy eyes. Field sobriety tests were administered and Khan was arrested. A controlled substance was found in his possession. Khan was charged with driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. He was held on a $2,000 secured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail
WARRANT SERVICE
Malvern Hill Court, 9/22, 6:42 a.m. Deputy M.E. Gordon responded to a residence for a report of a disturbance. It was learned the male involved in the disturbance, Christian Islas, 32, of Stafford, was wanted out of Stafford County for two probation violations. Islas was arrested and became belligerent. The drive to the magistrate’s office had to be stopped so restraints could be reapplied. Islas was served the outstanding warrants and was charged with obstruction of justice. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
