Office of Stafford County Sheriff issued the following announcement on Sept. 1
DUI
Warrenton Road & I-95 South, 8/31, 1:15 a.m. Deputy A.G. Booth stopped a vehicle for running a red light. The driver, Mark Page, 60, of Bear, Delaware, had slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and Page was arrested. He was charged with driving under the influence and two traffic violations. Page was released on a $2,500 unsecured bond.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
11 Hope Road, China King, 8/31, 3:53 p.m. Deputy R.M. Connelly responded to the business for a disturbance. The store owner reported she had been in an argument with an employee, Aaron Cooper, 38, of Fredericksburg. Cooper returned to the business while the deputy was still on scene. Cooper began to argue with the store owner again and ignored repeated commands from the deputy to leave the store. Cooper was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice. He was released on a $2,000 unsecured bond.
LARCENY
347 Warrenton Road, Car City, 8/31, 9:48 a.m. The victim reported the license plates were stolen off of his vehicle while it was parked at the business. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 4 p.m. on August 30 and 9 a.m. on August 31.
