Office of Stafford County Sheriff issued the following announcement on July 28
BURGLARY
2773 Jefferson Davis Highway, Pavillion Hair Studio, 7/27, 4:34 p.m. The store owner reported cash was stolen from the cash register. Security footage shows a male suspect enter the business at 10:50 p.m. on July 24 and take the cash. There were no signs of forced entry. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY
217 Garrisonville Road, Walmart, 7/27, 3:26 p.m. Deputy C.M. Sterne responded for a report of a theft. The loss prevention employee reported the suspect, Zain Rahman, 19, of Stafford, concealed several items in a storage bin and attempted to leave without paying for the merchandise. Rahman was charged with shoplifting and released.
VANDALISM
2650 Jefferson Davis Highway, Stafford Post Office, 7/27, 7:35 p.m. The victim parked her vehicle at 7:05 a.m. When she returned at 7:30 p.m., she noticed scratch marks in the paint across the side of the vehicle.
